Based in Echuca, our breeding program for barrel racing and cow breed quarter horses in Australia is dedicated to producing top-quality, athletic and competitive horses for the sport throughout Australia. We carefully select breeding stock from some of the best bloodlines in the industry to ensure that our horses possess the essential traits for success, such as temperament, speed, agility, brain power, cowiness and longevity.
We breed horses that are well-balanced and versatile, with a combination of speed, power, and athleticism. Our horses are also known for their intelligence, trainability, and good dispositions, which makes them easy to work with and ideal partners for riders.
The Three Nines breeding program is based on the principles of selective breeding, where we focus on the essential traits. We also prioritise conformity, disposition, and soundness. Our breeding process is under the guidance of a team of experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of the sport and the specific characteristics required for success.

Peppyz Arizona (ASHA) X Step N Fetch It Roan Filly (Phoenix )
Peppys Arizona, stable name Ari, is one of the most athletic horses we have ever ridden. Starting her rodeo career with success as a steer wrestling horse, Ari has since been trained as a breakaway roping horse and is now starting her career as a barrel racing horse, clocking in the 1D at her 3rd outing. Ari carries the QH lines of Peppys Doc Bar and Gay bar Cutta. Step N Fetch It is a Pepto stylish oak stud, the leading sire of cutting horse earners in Australia for the past several years and is out of a smart little diablo mare. Step N Fetch It (Costa) has had a hugely successful career in the rodeo arena as a calf roping, team roping, hazing and barrel racing horse. His sweet nature means he has taken care of countless children through their junior rodeoing years.

Desirable Destiny X Seconds Ta Fame Liver Chestnut Filly (Sadie)
This beautiful filly carries the lines of some of the best barrel racing and cow horses Australia has seen. Desirable Destiny is sired by Acres Destiny, the record breaking stallion whose progeny has dominated in the rodeo arena, campcraft pen, cutting pen and cow horse pen. Desirable Destiny carries the legendary One Moore lines and is bred in the purple. Seconds Ta Fame needs no introduction to the barrel racing industry. Sired by the all time leading barrel racing sire in the world, Dash Ta Fame, Second’s progeny has been winning in the barrel racing pen all over Australia and America.
Desirable Acres X Red White N Blue Chestnut Filly (Salty)
Desirable Acres is a full sister to the above mare discussed, Desirable Destiny, although this mare had a lengthy career as a barrel racing horse. What this mare lacked in size she made up with try being one of the most gritty, big hearted mares we have ever had the privilege of working with. Red White N Blue is a big cow horse stud that carries some of the best lines in the cow horse industry, by Dual Smart Rey out of an Introcatolena X Docs Spinifex mare.
With blood lines such as Acres Destiny, Introcatolena, Docs Spinifex and Dual Rey this filly will be one of the cattiest horses we have breed to date.

We are so excited to introduce our 2022 stud colt to you, ‘Infamous Acres’ paddock name ‘Benji’
Benji is one of the nicest studs we have seen in a long time, breed by Cody and Tenielle Angland and started by Tenielle’s dad, Bill Little, Benji has had one of the best starts a horse can get. Benji’s mum, Rose, is a full sister to the well known Acres destiny stallion, Power of Destiny and had an incredible career for herself in the campdraft and cutting pen. Her brother, Power of Destiny has sired some of the best barrel racing horses the country has seen including Jaimi Downing’s late ‘Cruiser’, Zara benjamins ‘Bear’, Tenielle Anglands ‘Black Power’ and ‘Captian’ to name a few.
Benji’s dad, Born Ta Be Famous is by the legendary Dash Ta Fame and is out of the great mare SX Frenchmans Vanila, Born Ta Be Famous is a full sibling to NFR Qualifier Dash Ta Vanila, dam to NFR Qualifier Rosas Cantina CC ‘Rosa’ riden by Lisa Lockhart. Born Ta Be famous progeny has won $1.3 million dollars and counting.

Cool N Flashy (Flashy Pepto X Holly Dually) X BR Golden Leader (Biggie)
Cool N Flashy, stable name Dolly is sired by the well known barrel racing sire Flashy Pepto, father to some of the fastest barrel racing horses in Australia today including Leanne Caban’s Akka Dakka, Cheyenne Whitwell’s Rebel, Tamlin Osborne’s late Charles, LA, owned by the Gard Family, and Posh, formally owned by Montana O’Donoghue (now owned by Phoebe Usher). Dolly’s mother is a dually cool mare who is one of only two full siblings to the phenomenal barrel racing gelding Dual Wood (stable name Cool), owned by Shianne O’Donoghue, who earned over an estimated $180,000 in his career as a barrel racing horse. Holly had an extensive career herself in the camp drafting and cutting arena before she went into barrel racing, competing in sporting horse events with her previous owners.
BR Golden leader is a futurity and derby champion as well as an American semi finals qualifier, BR Golden Leader has proven himself not only in the barrel racing arena but also in the roping pen. This big stud is a half brother to Epic Leader, the sire of progeny earning $2.7+ million.
Roc N Diva X Acres Destiny (Boss)
Diva is a beautiful solid mare by the all-round stud, Docs Starsign (Docs Spinifex) out of a freckles Jay Jay mare. This Diva boasts a double cross of the legendary cutting horse Docs Spinifex. Retired to the brood mare paddock early, this mare has already produced a beautiful gelding By Captain Cool – the American barrel racing stud. Acres Destiny needs no introduction to the performance horse world. A record breaking stallion winning the Australian’s Campdraft Association Sires Progeny Award eight years in a row! Acres Destiny has arguably had the biggest genetic influence on the cow horse industry in Australia to date.

Desirable Acres X Streakin Ta Fame
Desirable acres who is more affectionally known as ‘little Acres’ at the Three Nines ranch gave us one of our favorite mares in her 2021 foal ‘Salty’ (above), this year we decided to cross her impeccable cow horse lines (Acres Destiny X Docs Denis) with the American rodeo qualifier himself, Streakin Ta Fame. With progeny earnings over 1 million dollars this studs height, speed, barrel racing success and blood lines (Dash Ta Fame x Streakin Six) will cross beautifully with the wit and brains of Little Acres.
Cee Im impressed X Seconds Ta Fame
Cee im impressed, paddock name ‘Elle” had her own successful barrel racing and showing career before becoming a mum, by the imported ‘Cee a barpasser’ Elle is a big strong mare with a huge amount of speed and tallent, we decided to cross her with the well known imported Australian stud, Seconds Ta Fame (Dash Ta Fame) after she had two beautiful performance foals that have both gone on to greatness. We decided on Seconds Ta Fame for Elle as the Cee a Barpasser X Seconds Ta Fame cross has proven itself time and time again in the barrel racing arena, as recent as the 2023 ABHA finals in Tamworth, NSW where Bernice Edwards rode and her futurity gelding ‘heres to you’ to a round 1 win and to clock within the top 10 of all of the thousands of horses entered in the week long event. We are super excited for this big, strong, speedy cross!
